An AgriTosha-supplied agrovet shop stocked with animal feed and farm inputs

Last-mile agricultural infrastructure for Western Kenya.

We distribute farm inputs, advice and digital tools to smallholder farmers, through the agro dealers who already serve them.

Rural agricultural supply chains operate with limited visibility.

In many parts of Western Kenya, farmers and agro dealers work within a system where distance, timing and demand are not always aligned. Inputs may exist in the market, but access, coordination and reliable information remain inconsistent.

01

Access Concentrated in Town Centers

Most agro dealers are located along highways and trading centers. Farmers in remote areas travel long distances to purchase seeds, fertilizers or veterinary products, often during critical planting or treatment windows.

02

Inconsistent Advisory at Point of Sale

Inputs alone are not enough. Clear guidance on usage, dosage and timing is essential. Without consistent advisory support, small errors can affect yields, livestock health and household income.

03

Limited Demand and Stock Visibility

Many rural supply chains rely on paper records and seasonal assumptions. Without structured demand visibility, agro dealers face stock-outs or overstocking and farmers encounter unpredictable availability.

One channel. Three layers of value.

We supply inputs to agro dealers, the outlets farmers already trust and visit. Through our point-of-sale tools, every purchase feeds into better advice, what a farmer grows, what they raise, what they'll likely need next season.

An AgriTosha Agrovet storefront in Bungoma Town, stocked with certified farm inputs

We built AgriTosha to close a gap we kept seeing.

Agro dealers naturally clustered along the highways and trading centers, where the traffic and infrastructure made sense for a business to set up. But many farmers lived well off that grid, deep in areas far from any main road, often hours from the nearest shop. For them, that distance meant missed planting and treatment windows simply because the trip wasn't fast enough when timing mattered most. Even when farmers did make it to a shop, they sometimes left with the right product but not quite enough guidance on how to apply it, and small differences in dosage or timing can make a real difference to how a season turns out. And agro dealers, working with memory and paper records because that's all most had, couldn't always tell what was moving fastest or what to restock, so shelves would run short on high-demand items while other stock sat unused. None of this points to anyone doing something wrong. It was a visibility problem. No one in the chain, not the farmer, the agro dealer, or anyone upstream, had a clear view of what the others actually needed. We started AgriTosha to close that gap, get certified inputs closer to where farmers actually live, put real advice at the point of sale, and build digital tools simple enough that no shop owner needs to become a tech expert to use them, so every visit to the counter works harder for both sides.

Let's build the last mile together.

Whether you're a farmer looking for reliable inputs, an agro dealer interested in supply or POS tools, or a partner exploring collaboration, we're happy to hear from you.
